For professional use only. Refer to the Mission Plus Hb user manual for full instructions. Allow all materials to reach room temperature (15 to 30°C) before testing.

Preparation:

- Remove the control solution bottles from refrigeration and allow to reach room temperature

- Shake each bottle well for at least 2 minutes before use

- Confirm the code chip number matches the test strip canister label

Steps:

1. Insert the code chip into the meter and switch on

2. Remove a test strip from the canister and close the canister immediately and tightly

3. Wait for the test strip symbol to flash; insert the strip completely into the strip channel following the direction of the arrows

4. When the blood drop symbol flashes, apply one drop of control solution to the centre of the specimen well

5. Read the result on screen after 15 seconds

6. Compare the result to the expected range printed on the control solution bottle label

7. Repeat for each control level using a separate test strip

If results fall outside the expected range, refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual before continuing testing.

- Store refrigerated at 2 to 8°C at all times; do not freeze

- Allow to reach room temperature before each use

- Once opened, use within 30 days; record the opening date on each bottle label

- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the bottle label

- Keep bottles tightly closed when not in use
