50x Go-Keto Ketone and Glucose Urine Sticks

Use the urine keto sticks for quick and easy self-testing ketone and glucose levels. When you start out on the keto diet, especially during the first few weeks, we recommend that you check your ketone and glucose levels when you get up in the morning, before each meal and 1-2 hours after each meal. Allow the strip, urine specimen, and/or controls to reach room temperature (15-30ºC) prior to testing. Gently wash the genital area thoroughly with soap and water then rinse well prior to testing. 1. Remove the strip from the closed canister and use it as soon as possible. Immediately close the canister tightly after removing the required number of strip(s). Note: Do not touch the reagent areas of the strip. 2. Hold the end of the strip farthest away from the test pad(s) and begin urinating. After 1 or 2 seconds of passing urine, hold the strip downward with the test pads pointing into the urine stream for 1-2 seconds. Make sure the test pads are completely wet. See illustration 1. Note: If you prefer, you can urinate into a clean and dry container. Dip the test pad(s) of the strip completely into the urine and remove immediately. Run the edge of the strip against the rim of the urine container to remove excess urine. 3. Hold the strip in a horizontal position and bring the edge of the strip into contact with an absorbent material (e.g. a paper towel) to avoid mixing chemicals from adjacent reagent areas and/or soiling hands with urine. See illustration 2 below. 4. Compare the reagent areas to the corresponding color blocks on the color chart at the specified times. Hold the strip close to the color blocks and match carefully. See illustration 3 below. Note: Do not read results after 3 minutes. IMPORTANT: Once the canister has been opened, the remaining strips are stable for up to 3 months. Stability reduces in high humidity conditions.
